When to See a Specialist

Specialist care goes beyond a general check-up and focuses on particular organ systems or groups of diseases. Seeing the right kind of doctor at the right time speeds up diagnosis, allows a treatment plan to be built around you, and helps to manage long-term conditions well.

Main Medical Specialties

Internal Medicine

The foundation of adult health care. Internal medicine looks after hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol disorders, thyroid disease, and kidney and liver problems, and is a good first stop when symptoms are mixed or unclear.

Paediatrics

Follows the physical, mental and motor development of babies, children and teenagers from birth to 18. It covers routine vaccination follow-up, growth checks, childhood infections and long-term conditions.

Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)

Medical and surgical care for the ear, nose, throat, head and neck: hearing loss, sinusitis, vertigo, tonsil and adenoid problems, voice problems and snoring.

Dermatology

Diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, nail and mucous membrane conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, allergic reactions and mole checks, as well as advice on cosmetic dermatology.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Women’s reproductive health: gynaecological examinations and screening, pregnancy follow-up, childbirth, menopause care and fertility treatment.

Gastroenterology

Diseases of the oesophagus, stomach, small and large bowel, liver, gall bladder and pancreas: reflux, gastritis, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis and inflammatory bowel disease, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.

Other Specialties

Not every specialty is available in every place. Ask us on WhatsApp which ones we can arrange for your location.

Can I Book a Specialist Appointment Through You?

Message us on WhatsApp with the specialty you need and your location. We will tell you what can be arranged and when.

Which Specialist Should I See First?

Bring previous test results, blood tests and imaging reports such as X-ray, MRI or CT, and a list of every medicine and supplement you take.

Do I Need to Fast?

For some blood tests, and for some stomach and bowel appointments, fasting for 8 to 12 hours may be needed. Follow the instructions you are given for your appointment.

Emergency in Turkey: call 112. Online visits are not for life-threatening conditions or controlled-substance prescriptions.
