The emergency number is 112, not 999, 000, 111 or 911. Ambulances and hospital emergency departments handle serious injuries and sudden illness.

Hospitals and Clinics

Private hospitals and clinics operate in Antalya, and many have English-speaking staff. Some see patients without an appointment, but fees and waiting times vary, so ask about the cost first and keep your invoice for your insurer.

Pharmacies

Look for the red E sign. Pharmacists can advise on minor problems, and the on-duty pharmacy (nobetci eczane) stays open at night and on Sundays.
